Imperial patch designby ~witchking08

I was commissioned to do a patch design by a member of the Nordic Garrison of the 501st Vader's Fist a year ago. The patch was to be sold to raise money for various beneficiaries, such as those in Haiti, Chile Children's Cancer Fund, etc. The circular frame is pretty much a set template that the contact sent, while I provided the central illustration of the troopers raising the flag following the Iwo Jima photo, as requested by my contact.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this in my email inbox earlier as my contact once again emailed me. I long wondered how the patch came out, and I think it came out great!

Credit ultimately goes to whomever in their group who did the final edit.

The original artwork I did had the Imperial insignia as a watermark in the background with the flag being blue. It's just terrific that they managed to follow the trooper details in this medium.
